The team behind work that gets seen.
Shoelace Creative is a content and marketing agency with offices in Canberra and Melbourne. Since late 2019 we have planned, shot, designed, built and run campaigns for government, councils, universities, brands and businesses, with one team from brief to results.
Started in live music. Built for results.
Shoelace started with two founders who came up through live music. Ty booked bands for two Melbourne venues for years, and Jules played and engineered in them. Live music teaches you to plan tight, work fast and make the night land.
We brought that to content. Today Shoelace is a content and marketing agency for government, councils, universities, brands and businesses, with a team that plans, shoots, edits, designs, builds and runs the campaign.
We judge the work on what it changes: enquiries, enrolments, applications, awareness. Not on how many formats we deliver. That is why most of our clients come back.
Four things we do every time.
We ask what has to change before we ask what to film, design or build.
Planning, production, post, design, web and ads in house. Nothing lost between suppliers.
We report what the work returned, in plain English, and what we change next.
Clear quote, written scope, and a real person who answers the phone.
Six sectors we know inside out.
We know how approvals, audiences and budgets work in each of these, so you spend less time explaining and more time getting the work out.
Canberra, Melbourne and wherever the job is.
