The challenge
A simulation has to feel real.
A student-led summit. ACSS at the Australian National University puts participants through realistic national security crisis scenarios.
Immersion matters. The more the scenario looks like a real broadcast, the more seriously participants treat it.
Lots of moving parts. Live presenters, pre-recorded segments and multiple rooms all had to run together.
Watch
What we did
Run it like a broadcast.
We treated the summit like a live news operation, with a full production setup and a team managing every transition.
Multi-camera live stream
Several camera angles and a live switching desk streamed the scenario as it unfolded.
Teleprompters and presenters
Live presenters worked from teleprompters, so the crisis updates read like real broadcasts.
Live and pre-recorded
We managed the production requirements and transitions between live and pre-recorded segments.
From the library
Live from the summit.

The results
A more convincing simulation.
- A live-streamed, multi-camera production for the summit.
- Seamless switching between live presenters and pre-recorded content.
- A more realistic, engaging experience for participants.
