The challenge
Expert firm. Underselling website.
A site that undersold them. Viden is a Canberra cyber security firm working across Defence, government and critical infrastructure. Their old website didn't explain the depth of their services and had no clear call to action for clients or recruits.
A fixed deadline. The new site had to be live before Land Forces 2024 in Melbourne, the Defence industry event where Viden would be meeting prospective clients.
A moving target. Copy and assets were still being written during the build. The site had to stay on WordPress and their own hosting, and their team needed to be able to run it once we handed it over.

What we did
Design tight, build on staging, ship on time.
We designed the core pages first, built everything on a staging site, and moved it onto Viden's hosting in a single afternoon.
Service-first structure
We reorganised the site around Viden's services, merging the confusing labs and consulting split into one clear menu, with dedicated pages for areas like hardware assurance, software assurance, GRC and penetration testing.
Scope that protected the deadline
Seven core page designs went through two client review rounds in Figma. When copy ran late, we agreed with Viden to move secondary pages to a later phase so launch day never slipped.
Built to hand over
We developed on staging, then migrated to Viden's managed hosting with HubSpot forms, Google Analytics and reusable blocks and styles already set up, so their team can edit the site themselves.
